Some of you out there who have been following my blog closely will know that I have been volunteering at the 'Wildlife Friend Foundation Thailand' for the past month. In the past few weeks several animals, including gibbons, bears and civets were violently and cruelly snatched from their cages to be kept in small cages in Government centres. They have been rescued from a life of cruelty and abuse only to be returned to the same environment to be exploited and mistreated.
The volunteers themselves were treated to physical violence and verbal abuse.
